Shaikh XI rout KGA

KARACHI, Nov 4: A brilliant all-round performance by Fauz ul Azeem, backed up with a splendid unbeaten knock of 79 runs by Azhar Gul, enabled Sheikh XI thrash KGA Gymkhana by eight wickets in the First Ramzan ul Mubarak Super Cup Colour Kit cricket festival played on Tuesday.

KGA reached 168 runs for the loss of six wickets in the 25 allotted overs through a whirlwind knock of 52 by Freddie D’Cruze, laced with six boundaries and two sixes.

Fauz ul Azeem was the pick of the Sheikh XI attack, picking up three wickets for 31 runs.

Shaikh XI with Fauz (67) and Azhar Gul (79 n.o.) put on on 120 runs for the second wicket and victory was achieved in 22.2 overs.
