Multan, Nov 2: A committee formed by State Agriculture Minister Sikander Hayat Bosan, to probe causes of pest attack on cotton fields across the country and shortage of the required pesticides will be held on Monday (today) in Karachi. The Plant Protection Department director-general is its head while directors of Central Cotton Research Institutes of Multan and Sakrand, director (research) at the headquarters of the Pakistan Central Cotton Committee and directors of provincial departments of pest warning and quality control of pesticides are its members. — Correspondent
