KARACHI, Nov 1: Dawood Sports registered a five-wicket triumph over Friend Gymkhana in the opening match of the All Karachi Sattar Tara Memorial Ramazan tournament.

Friends Gymkhana batting first were shot out for 105 runs in 18.1 overs with Tanweer Qureshi top scoring with 24 runs. Farituddin bagged three for 23 and S.M. Kamran two for 17.

Led by unbeaten 35 by S. Raheel Dawood Sports reached the target of 106 in 19.4 overs, losing five wickets in the process.
