KARACHI, Oct 31: A couple was shot dead by unknown persons in Site area on Friday.
Police said that Musta Gul, 55, and Hayat Begum, 45, were in their house in Khybar Colony, when unknown persons barged into their house and opened fire on the couple.
The attackers fled from the spot after killing the both.
The police shifted the bodies to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for the post-mortem examination.
The police said that the killing seems to be the result of some personal enmity.
KILLED: Cleaner of a truck died, while its driver was injured during a vehicle-snatching attempt in Pak Colony late on Thursday night.
Police said that the truck (KK-9974) was intercepted by unknown armed men in Pak Colony. As the driver, Zulfiqar, and cleaner Tanveer, 20, tried to offer resistance, the armed men opened fire and fled.
As a result, both the driver and cleaner were injured, who were taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where Tanveer died during treatment, while Zulfiqar was admitted for treatment.
