KARACHI, Oct 30: A dashing unbeaten 100 M. Zafar, coupled by some fine spin bowling by Abdul Qadar and Umar Farooqi, were instrumental in helping Mohammad Hussain CC register a 43-run victory over Al Noor Gymkhana in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan league played on Thursday.
Mohammad Hussain CC reached 198 runs for the loss of five wickets in their 25 allotted.
Al Noor CC were bowled out for 155 in 23.1 overs with Saad Wasim (50) being the only batsman to offer resistance against spinners Umar Farooqi four for 29 and Abdul Qadir four for 30.
In another encounter, Pak Gymkhana scored a seven-wicket triumph over United Sports.
United Sports managed 143 runs for the loss of five wickets in 25 overs. Aamir Ayaz Khan (64) top scored for his side.
With Atta ur Rehman in great form slamming 77 not out. Pak Gymkhana coasted home.

Young Pak Flag WIN
Young Pak Flag CC scraped through to victory by a narrow margin of eight runs at the Pak Star ground in the All-Karachi Maqsood Eye Hospital Ramazan tournament.
Young Pak Flag were 108 runs for the loss of eight wickets through Javed Ahmed (40) and Ather Kalim (20) in their 20 overs. Junaid-ur-Rehman three for 14 was the pick of the bowlers.
Youngsters Gymkhana were bowled out for 96 in 18.5 overs. Moiz Ahmed (33) and Razi Anwar (22) were among the runs. Javed Ahmed three for 15 was the main wicket-taker.
Friends Gym triumph
Friends Gymkhana beat Karachi Tigers by five wickets in the Seventh Nihal Siddiqui Ramazan Festival League played.
Put into bat Karachi Tigers scored 160 for seven wickets in their 20 overs through S.M. Rahim (36), Anar Bhatti (30) and Farhan (28). M . Muneer grabbed three for 30.
In reply Friends Gymkhana reached the of 161 in 19.1 overs losing five wickets. Muhibullah led the way with a sterling 65. Hafiz chipped in with 21, with Talha Azim capturing two wickets for 40 runs.

Ansari Sports victorious
Ansari Sports defeated General Tyres by six wickets in the All-Karachi Naveed Hussain Memorial cricket tourney played at the Malir Raiders ground.
With Danish unbeaten with 50 runs and Aqueel (24), General Tyres scored 153 for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Saleem bagged two for 25 for the fielding side.
Ansari Sports achieved victory after 18.3 overs while reaching 157 for four wickets. Shafiq Sr. (64) and Adil (41) were the principal scorers.
