ISLAMABAD, Oct 29: Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy Chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim has been summoned by Pakistan People’s Party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto to Dubai, sources told Dawn on Wednesday.

The sources said Mr Fahim left for Karachi on Wednesday and would depart for Dubai on Thursday.

He had returned from the United Kingdom last week after holding a meeting with Ms Bhutto.

When contacted, PPP Senator Farhatullah Khan Babar confirmed that Mr Fahim would go to Dubai on Thursday.

However, he said it was a scheduled visit and Ms Bhutto had asked Mr Fahim in London to see her in Dubai when she reached there.
