Two outlaws killed

SHIKARPUR, Oct 28: Two outlaws were killed and another injured in a police encounter in Kamal Shah Mohalla here on Tuesday.

Three bandits, identified as Noor Hassan Shaikh, Mamnoon Labano and Anwar Shaikh, residents of Shikarpur, snatched a motorcycle from a police head constable Raja Sanjrani on gunpoint and fled.

The head constable followed the culprits and intercepted them near Dargah Pir Tabib, Hathi Gate. The culprits tried to run away but failed when he opened fire on them.

The culprits retaliated as a result of which Noor Hassan Shaikh and Mamnoon Labano were killed on the spot while Anwar Shaikh was injured.

The injured was brought to the Civil Hospital, Shikarpur.

The police have claimed that the bandits were wanted in many heinous crimes.—BoC
