QUETTA, Oct 28: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday cancelled the bail of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Fazl) Naib Amir Maulana Abdul Ghani for not appearing in the hearing of a murder case.
The court sentenced four absconders to three-year imprisonment each.
Judge Mohammad Hashim Kakar cancelled the bail of the JUI-F leader when he failed to appear in the hearing. The court awarded three-year prison terms to Maulana Habibullah, Mohammad Ramzan, Maulana Sirajullah and Maulana Rauf, who have been declared absconders.
Maulana Ghani and others are nominated in a case for involvement in the killing of two relatives of former Kandahar governor Gul Agha in Chaman.
