NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 27: A dispute between Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party chief Dr Qadir Magsi and Sardar Khalid Mian Rajpar over a rice processing unit was resolved at the circuit house here on Sunday.

Dr Magsi had purchased the unit from Mr Rajpar and paid its price Rs1.83 million about five years ago. The STPP chief, however, was not handed over the possession of the property.

Upon knowing that the unit was being sold again to someone else as Mr Rajpar intended to shift to the USA, Dr Magsi demanded the amount but in vain. On this a tension-like situation prevailed in Padidan town.

The matter was decided at an assembly of elders which was attended by Dr Qadir Magsi, Sardar Khalid Mian Rajpar, Imdadullah Unnar, Imdad Hussain, and activists of the STPP.

DPO Mohammad Khan Khoso and Taluka Naib Nazim Khalifo Shakeel Ahmed were appointed as Ameens while the People’s Party district president Malhar Rajpar and Khalid Pervez Pandhiani were Mashirs of Dr Qadir Magsi. Imdadullan Unnar and Imdad Hussain were Mashirs of Sardar Khalid Mian.

After five hours of deliberations, Sardar Khalid Mian Rajpar apologized and gave cheques of money to Dr Magsi.
