ISLAMABAD, Oct 26: The National Assembly will resume its session at 10am on Monday after a two-day recess.
The Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-i-Azam) has summoned a meeting of its parliamentary party at 9.30 am before the session which will be presided over by Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali.
The meeting being held after about a month will also be attended by the PML’s coalition partners to discuss matters pertaining to current political situation, legislative business and the ongoing dialogue with the opposition.
The current 10th session of the assembly began on Aug 20, 2003. It will continue till Nov 11, to complete the minimum 130-day sitting in a year, which is mandatory under the rules of business of the National Assembly.—APP
