Constable killed by dacoits

MULTAN, Oct 24: A head constable was shot dead by six dacoits in Duniapur, Lodhran district, some 60 km off here, on Thursday night.

Duniapur Sadar police told APP on Friday that HC Abdul Khaliq, 32, and constable Nasir Ahmed were patrolling the bank of Qutabpur canal at about 7.30 pm on Thursday when they were attacked by six bandits. After killing Abdul Khaliq, they took away his G-3 rifle.—APP
