Two policemen among three killed as picket attacked

JACOBABAD, Oct 24: Three persons were killed and one injured when about 20 outlaws attacked the Uchh police picket with rocket launchers in the jurisdiction of Suhbatpur police station, Jaferabad district, Balochistan, on Friday.

The deceased were identified as police constables Samandar Khan and Noraiz Khan and eight-year-old Nek Mohammad. The bodies were sent to a hospital for autopsy.

The injured, head constable Rasool Bakhsh, was taken to the Jaferabad Civil Hospital.

The police have registered a case against the men who attacked the picket.

MAN KILLED: A man, Nabidad, son of Doonger Jakhrani, was killed by two men near the Bhogri Bazaar in the jurisdiction of city police station here the other day.

The motive behind the incident is said to be an old enmity.
