The family of Ghulam Rasool was going to attend a marriage ceremony by a car. Near Kukreywali village, the car skidded off road after the driver lost control and it plunged into the water channel.

Villagers took out the bodies of Mumtaz Kolachi, Riyaz Ahmed, Ijaz Ahmed, Hafeeza Bibi, and minors Asif, Saqib, Saleema and Safia.

The bodies of two other little girls, whose names could not be confirmed, were yet to be found.
