SCA to hold Inter-school tournaments

KARACHI, Oct 23: All the affiliated districts of Sindh Cricket Association (SCA) will organize Inter-school tournaments, says a SCA press release issued on Thursday.

A committee comprising SCA senior vice-president Dr Muhammad Ali Shah and joint secretary Nayyar Hussain have been formed and they will shortly holding a meeting with Sindh Education Minister and secretary education regarding this event.

SCA also decided during its meeting chaired by its president Hasib Ahsan to register former Test and first class cricketers, who will coach promising Karachi cricketers.

In the meantime a meeting regarding organizing four matches of Iinternational under-19 tournament will be held on Oct 25. Security of the participating team will top of meeting agenda.

Four-nation under-19 tournament will be played in Lahore and Karachi from Oct 31.—APP
