SWABI, Oct 19: The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) has warned that they would not allow the operation of cable networks, which the party said had diverted the attention of the young generation from studies.

At a mass contact programme here on Sunday, JUI-F former provincial general secretary Najeem Khan advocate said that if we wanted to catch up on day-to-day developments, we must give top priority to the education of the youth. Without proper education, we might fail to compete the developed nations, he added.

VISIT: Coordinators of the child rights committee visited the judicial lock-up here on Sunday and held talks with the superintendent of the jail on the problems of the women and youth inmates.
