Low turnout on first day

LAHORE, Oct 17: A low turnout of only 100 spectators on the first day of the first Test between Pakistan and South Africa at Gaddafi  Stadium Friday has forced PCB to reduce ticket rates for Saturday  and Sunday.

An official of the organising committee said that VIP enclosures rates had been reduced to Rs 100 per day from Rs  250. For the two first class Enclosures which earlier had Rs 150  and Rs 100, would be avaliable for Rs 50 per day.

The rates of general enclosures have been brought down to Rs 25 from Rs 50 per day. Ladies will buy a ticket at Rs 25.

He said that group of students recommended by their respective colleges and schools would enjoy free entry.
