Kabul informed about Indian missions’ acts, says Faisal
ISLAMABAD, Oct 17: Pakistan has informed the Afghan government about anti-Pakistan activities being carried out by Indian consulates in Afghanistan, interior minister Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat said on Friday.
He was talking to newsmen after the graduation ceremony of Special Investigation Group at the FIA headquarters.
Referring to the presence of RAW agents in Afghanistan, he said it had been “clearly explained” to the Afghan government that there was no need of Indian consulates as “six Indian camps are training RAW agents” to carry out anti-Pakistan activities.
“We have given evidences to the Afghan government and hope that they will not let anyone use their soil for anti-Pakistan activities”, the minister said.
Referring to the probe into the killing of Maulana Azam Tariq, he said “an appreciable progress” had been made but it was too early to discuss its details in the public because of the issue’s sensitivity.
He said strict action would be taken against organizations involved in creating law and order situation in the country, adding that a delegation of the Millat-e-Islamia had assured him to remain peaceful.—APP
