Kashif to lead Sindh team

KARACHI, Oct 16: The Sindh Table Tennis Championship will be held at Islamia Club indoor gymnasium from Friday with all the top players from across the province in action.

Players from five zones of Sindh, Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur Larkana will be contesting in team events, besides singles and doubles events.

Besides team event, men’s singles and doubles and open singles event involving departmental teams will be played.

Each team from Sindh Zone will comprise of 20 players an official with Adnan Mushtaq of Wapda will defend his title.

Meanwhile Karachi Table Tennis Association has named four-member squad for the championship.

Khawaja Kashif will lead the team. Other members are Hasan Haider, Fareed-ul-Haq and Asim Hussain. Arif Nakhuda will be the manager of team.—APP
