KARACHI, Oct 15: Former world number three, Saleh Muhammad of Pakistan, maintained his winning run in World Snooker Championship by chalking out his fourth consecutive win at Ching Ming City (China) on Wednesday, according to information received here.
Drawn in pool “D”, Saleh again fought back to overcome Alan Tang of Hong Kong in a match that went to full seven frames.
Saleh for the second successive match came from behind to record an exciting win. Tang was leading 3-2 after five frames. But Saleh produced a fighting performance and took the last frame to notch-up another thrilling win.
Saleh won 43-92, 104-9, 49-56, 63-28, 58-71, 85-08, 68-21.
Khurram Agha seems to settling down and after losing his opening two games. He registered his second win beating Patrick Desvaux of Mauritius in four straight frames. Khurram faced no problem in disposing of Desvaux 75-30, 85-25, 71-35, 59-29.—APP
