QUETTA, Oct 15: Balochistan Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani visited the Afghan border near Chaman on Wednesday.

He took round of the area and met troops of the Frontier Corps.

Pishin Scouts Commandant Col Abdul Basit Rana briefed him about the measures taken for the protection of the border and elimination of smuggling.

He said searchlights and barbed wire had been erected along the border to stop illegal movement of people.—Staff Correspondent
