Hostage recovered

SUKKUR, Oct 11: Fayyaz Ahmed Solangi, who was kidnapped by bandits from Sadiqabad, was recovered by the Sukkur police from the kutcha area of Qadirpur on Friday.

Sukkur ASP told journalists that the police received information that some bandits were hiding in the kutcha area with some hostages.

A police party conducted a raid at the hideout of the bandits which was followed by an-hour-long encounter.

Finally, the criminals fled with two other hostages, leaving Mr Mangi behind.—Correspondent
