KARACHI: Passing out parade

KARACHI, Oct 11: A passing out parade was held at the Ordnance Corps Centre here on Saturday, says an ISPR release.

Maj-Gen Muhammad Ashraf Saleem, General Officer Commanding, who was the chief guest on the occasion, witnessed the parade and distributed prizes among the recruits showing outstanding performances.

Speaking on the occasion, he impressed upon the recruits to continue with the hard work as there was no short cut to success.

On the occasion, recruit Zubair Gul was declared best in the SMT category. Ahmad Abbas secured first position in clerical category, and Mumtaz Hussain and M. Nazeer were declared best in drivers category. The title of ‘best recruit of the batch’ was given to recruit SMT Roshan. —APP
