KARACHI, Oct 9: The polling for office-bearers of Karachi University Teachers’ Society (KUTS) and its executive council was held on Thursday.
According to unofficial results pertaining to the office- bearers, Suhail A. Barkati and Sarwar Nasim have been elected as President and Secretary respectively. Other office-bearers are Zahida Maqsood as vice-president, Aqeel Ahmad as treasurer, Hina Khan and Muhammad Zubair as joint secretaries.
Out of 540 listed voters, around 432 teachers used their right to vote.
Counting for the executive council members was going on till the filing of the report.
