QUETTA, Oct 8: The Balochistan National Movement (BNM) denied the merger of the party with the Balochistan National Democratic Party (BNDP) and accused the dissidents of deviation from the manifesto of the party to struggle for the Baloch’s right of self-determination.
Speaking at a press conference here on Wednesday Ghulam Mohammad Baloch central organizer and Lala Munir Baloch deputy organizer of the party respectively declared to retain the BNM structure as an organization that would be part of the Ponam and their alliance with BNM, JWP, and BNP-Mengal to remain intact.
Ghulam Mohammad Baloch was articulate while defining the BNM programme and blamed the dissidents for bypassing the party central council that was the competent forum under the party constitution.
Ghulam Mohammad alleged that the dissidents have deceived the Baloch masses by participating in the parliamentary politics by contesting the general elections and declared that the BNM did not believe in compromising on principles.
Replying to a question regarding the differences with the parted group, Ghulam Mohammad said that the resolution of national question and recognition of right for self-determination was the main objective of the BNM programme on which the dissidents have compromised by traitorous act to merge the party in violation of the BNM constitution.
