Rs107 million allocated for Mardan uplift

MARDAN, Oct 6: The District Development Committee (DDC), Mardan, has allocated Rs107.03 million for Tameer Sarhad Programme (TSP), Annual Development Programme and Khushal Pakistan Programme in a meeting held here at the office of District Nazim Haji Raza Khan.

The meeting was presided over by District Nazim Raza Khan while District Coordination Officer (DCO), EDO finance and planning and EDOs of agriculture and public health engineering participated in it.

The meeting sanctioned Rs5 million under the TSP at Takhtbai tehsil for developmental schemes, which were included by MPA Naeema Akhtar.

Similarly, Rs0.500 million were sanctioned for payment to Pesco at Sarwarabad for developmental schemes, which were included by Israrul Haque, MPA, Rs3.5 million for sanitation schemes at Takhtbai, Rs7 million for a veterinary hospital at Mahabatabad.

An amount of Rs17 million was sanctioned for different drinking schemes at district Mardan while separately Rs26 million were allocated for drinking schemes at Mian Khan Sangao and Kohi Barmol Villages. DDC further sanctioned Rs19 million for the construction of Sher Garh-Badraga road and allocated Rs3.03 million for the construction of 20-kilometre roads at PF 29.
