LAHORE, Oct 5: Three-year-old bay colt Amazing, who is in good form should make amends by winning the Muhammad Tughlaq Cup, during the 4th Lahore Winter Meeting at the Racecourse on Monday.

Amazing is appearing in the fifth and feature event, a  class V division I and II combined handicap race to be contested over the sprinting distance of 1200m.

This colt from Fearless Leader out-of-Crepscule, Amazing in his seven outings todate has won once and been placed five times.

He was beaten by an outclass entry Tora Bora over 1200m last Sunday. That performance had made him top fancy to win the cup event and make amends this time.

Dark-bay Beena Roy Baby, roan Green Hill and bay filly Hunza should fight for less remunerative positions.

The sixth and supporting event, the Minchan Abad Plate for class IV division I and II combined, to have gone over the middle distance of 1400m seems an open affair.

Out of eleven contestants, at least three are on chance to win the event. They are; Moment To Moment, Happy Boy and Ponche.

All three are in good form and racing fitness. If on job it should be an exciting race. However, the distance of the race goes in favour of Moment To Moment.

Bone Crusher, Minnie Me, Black Nigeria and strings look good in the fourth race, the Sihala Plate class VII division I, to be run over the sprinting distance of 1000 metres. Top weight Bone Crusher though carrying a heavy impost of 9-4 may make amends for his defeat last Sunday. He will be going over 200 metres less this time which should suit him. Minnie Me, Black Nigera and Strings should prove his challengers.

Speed Gun, Meri Kajal and Much Pleasure are the pick of eleven runners in the third race. They should finish in the same order.  However, Speed Gun and Meri Kajal belong to  one connection. There is every likelihood of being only one on job to win.

Bay mare Royal Victory ran a god race over 1200 metres last Sunday. She looks poised to win again in the second race. The main challenge to her should come from Madam Lorina and The Assassin. The last named did not put up a show which had been expected of him. Perhaps, true to his name he was sent to kill punters.

There are only eight acceptors in the field in the opener. Three of them come into reckoning. They are Easy Come Easy Go, Extra Power and All At Sea. Easy Come Easy Go is in top form and may oblige connections this time.

Dark-bay mare Wall Street, who was beaten to fourth position on Sunday last should make amends and win the seventh and last race. She should be followed by Fine Gold and Two Timing.

A card of seven races will be down for decision in the afternoon. The first race will be held at 1pm.
