QUETTA, Oct 4: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousuf said on Saturday that the terrorists involved in the rocket attack on a railway pilot engine have been identified and would be arrested soon.

Talking to newsmen after the provincial assembly’s session, he said: “The law enforcement agencies have traced out the camps of outlaws in Sir Kuch and Pirani areas and soon an operation will be launched against them.” He said children and women were also living in the camps. He said the law enforcement agencies were making all out efforts for the arrest of the outlaws.

The chief minister condemned the bomb blast at a school in Rojhan Jamali and the rockets attack on the railway engine and termed them cowardly acts.

He said it was shameful that some elements were targeting innocent schoolchildren and poor railways employees.

“My government will not tolerate and pardon terrorists and will take strict action against them,” he said.

He said the government had taken serious notice of the recent rocket attacks and bomb blasts and would use all resources and authority to crush the elements involved in such acts.

“Some elements want to create fear and harassment in the province,” Jam Yousuf said and added that they would not be allowed to destroy the peaceful atmosphere of Balochistan.

He said that government would fulfil its responsibilities for maintaining law and order and protecting the life and property of the people. He said the designs of the outlaws would be foiled with the help of the people.

He said measures were being taken to avoid such incidents in future and the police and other law enforcement agencies would be made more effective.

Responding to a question about hunting in the province by Arab rulers, he said it was not new and the federal government issued permits for the purpose.

He said the Arab rulers only hunted the migratory birds that came from Russia and other countries in winter and there was no threat to the forests and environment in the province.

He said the visitors had launched many development projects for the welfare of the people, including hospitals, educational institutions and roads.

He said that the rulers of Abu Dhabi had constructed a 200-bed modern hospital in the provincial capital and Saudi Arab, Qatar and other Gulf states also extended cooperation to the people of Balochistan.

He said the countries had recently provided financial aid and relief goods for the rains and flood affected people of Kharan and other areas.
