Zonal trials tomorrow

KARACHI, Oct 2: The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) have decided to hold trials on Saturday to pick teams for an inter-zonal cricket tournament, starting from Oct 20.

This tournament, according to KCCA secretary Sirajul Islam Bukhari, will be the criterion of selection of KCCA teams for the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy.

Each of the seven zones is being allowed to enter three teams in the zonal competition.

Players, who are desirous of playing in the tournament, are advised to report in proper cricket dress for selection for their respective zones according to the following schedule of trials, begining at 10.00am:

Cricketers from Zone-I will appear at Student Cricket Ground (Liaquatabad), Zone-II at TMC Ground (Block-13, Federal ‘B’ Area), Zone-III at Railways Stadium, Zone-IV at Pak Star Ground (Malir Extension Colony), Zone-V at Landhi Gymkhana Ground (Sector 37-D, Landhi Colony No 1), Zone-VI at KCCA Stadium and Zone-VII at Nazimabad Gymkhana Ground (Annu Bhai Park).
