Party chiefs to meet on 7th

By Our Staff Reporter

LAHORE, Sept 29: Heads of parties in the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy are expected to meet in Islamabad on Oct 7 to discuss the alliance’s future strategy.

Sources said that leaders of various parties were contacted by ARD’s secretary-general Iqbal Zafar Jhagra in this regard.

However, the date for holding the meeting is tentative.

Makhdoom Amin Faheem, ARD’s senior vice-president, will preside over the meeting.

Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif has directed his party members to keep the alliance intact at all costs.

Participants of the meeting will discuss the mass contact programme and some public meetings are proposed to be held before Ramazan.
