KARACHI, Sept 29: In order to observe the International Day of Elder Persons, a walk will be organized under the auspices of the Geriatrics Care Foundation on Oct 1.

The walk will begin from the Karachi Press Club and will terminate at the same place to mark the day. The foundation will also hold a seminar on the occasion at Karachi Gymkhana, where Sindh Women Development Minister Dr Saeeda Malik will be the chief guest.

On the day, the Aga Khan Social Welfare Board in collaboration with the Senior Citizens Committee, the Pakistan Senior Citizens Association and the Rotary Club Karachi Kehkashan will also organize programmes.—APP
