Heras victorious
MADRID, Sept 28: Spain’s Roberto Heras, riding for the US Postal team, won his second Tour of Spain here on Sunday.
The 21st and final stage, a 145.8km run around the Spanish capital, was captured by Italy’s Alessandro Petacchi of the Fassa Bortolo team.
Heras, who won the 2000 Vuelta, beat home long-time leader Isidro Nozal in the overall standings.—AFP
