Jurists team arrives in India


WAGAH, Sept 28: A 22-member team of Pakistani jurists arrived in Chandigarh on Sunday via the Wagah border to attend the International Legal Conference on Monday.

The conference is being organized by the Bar Association of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh. The delegation is led by Arif Chaudhry, Vice-chairman of the Punjab Bar Council.

Talking to newsmen here, Arif Chaudhry said he had been asked by Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi to extend an invitation to the Indian Punjab CM to visit Pakistan.—PPI
