Book banned
LONDON, Sept 26: David Beckham’s former employers Manchester United have banned his autobiography, “My Side”, from their club shop, a British newspaper reported on Friday.
“It is an astonishing decision to deprive the 70,000 fans (who attend United’s home games) a chance to buy the book about one of their icons,” a spokesman for the book’s publishers’ HarperCollins was quoted as saying in The Sun.—AFP
