LTTE objects to military post

BATTICALOA, Sept 26: In the eastern Batticaloa district, government troops were compelled to summon the Scandinavian monitors representatives, after a group of armed LTTE men showed up at a military observation post the other day and demanded its removal.

Five LTTE fighters reached the observation post and wanted them to have it removed, saying that it has been erected outside troops controlled area. The Lankan troops had to call in the monitors.
