KARACHI, Sept 26: Six ships carrying containers, soyabean oil and soyabean meal are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves gathered momentum after steady arrivals of the incoming ships. Five ships, Hyundai Advance to unload and load containers, Annemieke to offload and load general cargo, Mercs Komari to offload soyabean meal, Botany Treasure to unload tallow and Da Qing-451 to load naptha were berthed.

Sailing was also active as six ships, Hammurabi, Pu He, Bunga Mastiga, Annemieke, Panos-G and Nur Al-Jubail departed, while Amour-1, Hyundai Advance, Eax Sanctity, Botany Treasure and Da Qing-451 are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 65,443 tons comprising 22,892 tons of export cargo and 42,551 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Da Qing-451, with 15,000 tons soyabean oil, Al-batros, with 5,000 tons of soyabean meal, Australian Bridge, Kota Teraju and Izumo, with containers and Bolan, with general cargo.
