QUETTA, Sept24: Sukkur overwhelmed hapless Mirpurkhas by record margin of 13-0 in the league match while Quetta Whites qualified for the quarterfinal after 0-0 draw against Karachi Colours in the 20th national women’s hockey championship on Wednesday.

Sukkur’s clash with Mirpur Khas was a mis-match as centre forward Zakia and left half Tabassum scored hit tricks for the former. Other goal scorers were Shazia, Rizwana, Shaista, Amber, Hina, Nurul Ain and Sonia.

The winners led 7-0 at the half-time whistle.

Lahore Colours beat Rawalpindi 1-0 in the third match of the day with right-in Ayisha Arif grabbing the match winner.
