SANGHAR, Sept 23: The protesters blocked Sanghar-Nawabshah road near Shahpur Chakar on Tuesday by burning tyres on it as a result hundreds of vehicles remained stranded for over an hour.

The protests was observed against the murder of a boy, Bismillah Jan, 8, son of Naimatullah, who had gone missing on Monday and his body was found in a sack in a deserted house in Kamil Shah Colony on Tuesday. The killers had strangulated the boy by using a steel string as a noose.

The protesters dispersed when the area Nazim assured them that the killers would be arrested.

The Shahpur Chakar police have arrested Mohammad Hassan Shar, the owner of the house from where the body was recovered.

WOMAN KILLED: A man killed his sister in the Khuda Bukhsh Mari village near Tando Adam on Sunday night for marrying of her own choice.

Shahnaz, 16, had married her cousin Yasin, who had been adopted by her parents.
