KARACHI, Sept 23: Jail authorities received on Tuesday the copy of Supreme Court’s rejection order on the review petition of a condemned prisoner for further action from an anti- terrorism court.
Judge Arshad Noor Khan of the ATC-3 had awarded death sentence to Shaikh Mohammad Amjad, son of Shaikh Mohammad Amin, for kidnapping and killing his neighbour’s son Barrister Shakir Latif.
The jail authorities said the copy of the order passed by the Supreme Court on Sept 8 had been received. — Staff Reporter
