TT title for Yue
KOBE (Japan), Sept 21: China’s up-and-coming star Guo Yue captured her first Pro Tour title when she defeated her compatriot Guo Yan to win the women’s singles title at the Japan Open table tennis tournament on Sunday.
World number one Timo Boll of Germany won his first win of the season beating two-time Asian Games bronze medallist Oh Sang-Eun 11-5, 8-11, 11-4, 6-11, 12-10, 13-11 in the men’s singles final.—AFP
