HYDERABAD, Sept 20: The second additional district and sessions judge here on Saturday granted pre-arrest bail to an accused in a Zina Hudood Ordinance case in the sum of Rs100,000 each.

The case against Kamran Khan was lodged at the Site police station by Ghulam Ahmad Malik on Sept 14.

The complainant accused Khan of abducting his daughter and taking her to Peshawar on Aug 30 where she was criminally assaulted. He said she had fled from Peshawar and reached Hyderabad.

The defence counsel said the girl had married Khan of her own will eight days before the registration of the FIR and a statement in this regard was recorded before the local magistrate after the Nikah. He said her case of marriage was also pending before the sixth extra joint civil judge which was fixed for Sept 24.
