LAHORE, Sept 18: Defending champions Railways will meet Sargodha in the opening match of the 20th NBP-national women hockey championship to be held at Quetta from Sept 22 to Oct 3.

Following is the group position: Pool A: Railways, Sargodha, Karachi Whites, Faisalabad Whites.

Pool B: Lahore Colours, Gujranwala Colours, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rawalpindi.

Pool C: Faisalabad Colours, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur, Quetta Colours, Peshawar.

Pool D : Lahore Whites, Quetta Whites, Karachi Colour, Multan, Islamabad.

Draws: Sept 22: Railways vs Sargodha; Lahore Colours vs Gujranwala; Faisalabad vs Mirpurkhas; Lahore Whites vs Quetta Whites.

Sept 23: Karachi Whites vs Faisalabad Whites; Dera Ghazi Khan vs Rawalpindi; Sukkur vs Quetta Colours; Karachi Colours vs Multan.

Sept 24: Railways vs Karachi Whites; Lahore vs Dera Ghazi Khan; Faisalabad Colours vs Peshawar; Lahore Whites vs Islamabad.

Sept 25: Sargodha vs Faisalabad; Gujranwala vs Rawalpindi; Mirpur Khas vs Quetta Colours; Quetta Whites vs Multan.

Sept 26: Rest Day.

Sept 27: Sukkur vs Peshawar; Lahore Colours vs Rawalpindi; Faisalabad Colours vs Quetta Colours; Quetta Whites vs Islamabad.

Sept 28: Sargodha vs Karachi; Dera Ghazi Khan vs Gujranwala; Mirpur Khas vs Sukkur; Lahore Whites vs Karachi.

Sept 29: Quetta Whites vs Karachi Colours; Multan vs Islamabad; Railways vs Faisalabad.

Sept 30: Faisalabad vs Sukkur; Karachi vs Islamabad; Mirpurkhas vs Peshawar; Lahore Whites vs Multan.

SEMIFINALS: Winner of Pool “A” vs Winner of Pool “C”; Winner of Pool “B” vs Winner of Pool “D’. Oct 2: Rest Day.

Oct 3. Third position match followed by final.
