NBP-WAPDA in final

KARACHI, Sept 17: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) moved into the final of All Pakistan Nishan-e-Haider Hockey Tournament when they beat Pakistan Army 4-2 in the semifinal at Bahawalpur, according information made available on Wednesday.NBP will take on WAPDA in the final on Thursday.

Olympian Anis Ahmed slammed two goals and Ovais Khan and Asif Ahmed scored the other goals for bankers. Pakistan junior international Muhammad Imran blasted both the goals for Army by converting penalty corners. The match was locked 2-2 at breather but Anis slammed both the goals in the second session.—APP
