NWFP hockey trials on 18th

PESHAWAR, Sept 16: Trials to select NWFP hockey team will be held on Sept 18 at Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium.

This was stated by Muhammad Fareed Jadoon, President NWFP Hockey Association.

He said all affiliated districts with NWFP Hockey Association have been advised to send their players for the trials on the mentioned date at 3.00 p.m.

The selected team will participate in the forthcoming All Pakistan Governor Punjab Gold Cup, scheduled for Sept 20, at Sahiwal, a City of Punjab, he added.

The selection committee headed by Haji Fareed Jadoon with other members comprising Haji Nawaz Khan, Malki Wadan, Shariq Khan, Ayub Buba, and Syed Zahir Shah will name the final team.

All the players have been asked to report to camp commandant Tehsin Ullah on Sept 18 at 3.00 p.m.—APP
