Indian call ‘ludicrous’: Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, Sept 15: Pakistan on Monday rejected as “ridiculous” Indian Foreign Minister Yashwant Sinha’s proposal that Islamabad should cooperate with Delhi in its fight against Mujahideen in the Valley.
“India has unleashed repression in occupied Kashmir, Pakistan can’t be party to that repression,” foreign ministry spokesman Masud Khan said at his weekly news briefing.
“The remarks made by Mr Yashwant Sinha are ludicrous and ridiculous,” he said.
He called on India to end repression in Kashmir. “India has to roll back its apparatus of state terrorism. They are the one who have to withdraw their repression from IHK (Indian held Kashmir)”.—Agencies
