DCA trials on Thursday

HYDERABAD, Sept 15: District Cricket Association (DCA) Hyderabad will hold trials to select team for PCB senior Inter-district cricket tournament would be held on Sept 18 at Niaz Stadium.

According to secretary DCA Faheem Baig Mughal a selection committee comprising Aleem Hyder, Maqsood, Jaleel Khanzada and Mahfooz Ali has been formed. He informed that in fact trials were to be held on Sept 16 but due to non-availability of the Stadium it would now be held on Sept 18.

He advised the players to bring their three passport size photographs and other documents to be presented to the selection committee. The scrutiny of documents would be conducted by Ashraf Mughal and Salahuddin.

Jehanzeb Cricket Club and Bukhari Club qualified for semi finals in Shahbuddin Junejo Memorial Inter-club cricket tournament at Sachal Cricket Ground Kotri on Sunday and Monday.

Jehanzeb Cricket Club beat Shah Latif Cricket Club by three wickets while Bukhari Cricket Club defeated GTPS club by four wickets.

Al-Amir Sports outclassed Afzal Sports by eight wickets to reach the quarterfinals of the inter-club cricket tournament of Hyderabad district at the PCB Regional Academy Ground here the other day.
