US links N.Korea to drug trade
WASHINGTON, Sept 15: US President George Bush said on Monday the United States was “increasingly convinced” that North Korea had a direct role in drugs production and trafficking.
“We are deeply concerned about heroin and methamphetamine linked to North Korea being trafficked to East Asian countries,” Mr Bush said in his annual report to Congress.—AFP
