RAWALPINDI: Turkish envoy meets defence minister

RAWALPINDI, Sept 13: Turkish ambassador H. Kemal Gur on Saturday called on the defence minister, Rao Sikandar Iqbal, and discussed details regarding the official visit of Turkish defence minister, Vecdi Conul, to Pakistan during the second week of December.

The defence minister, appreciating the decision, said: “Turkey is a good friend and we are eagerly looking forward to this visit.”

The invitation of the visit was extended to the Turkish defence minister by Mr Iqbal during his official visit to Turkey in May.
