VERSAILLES (France), Sept 11: Retief Goosen missed out on the St-Nom-la-Breteche course record but an eight-under-par 63 earned the South African a one-stroke lead in the Lancome Trophy first round on Thursday.
Goosen bogeyed the last after bunkering his approach, but a scintillating run of an eagle and five birdies took him a stroke clear of Swede Mikael Lundberg.
