Superb all-round show by Zubair

KARACHI, Sept 11: Zubair Siddiqui took five wickets and slammed an unbeaten hundred to power Pak Students CC (PSCC) to four wicket success over Memon Gymkhana (MG) in Madar-i-Millat Inter-club cricket tournament at Airport Stadium on Wednesday.

Zubair captured five wickets for 42 runs to spin out MG for 244 all out in 39.5 overs. PSCC in reply reached the target in 37th over for the loss of six wickets.

After superb bowling, Zubair hammered 117 not out with the aid of 14 boundaries and a six.

In the other match at New United Gymkhana Ground, CS defeated Godhra Sports by eight wickets.

Left arm spinner Asifuddin Ghouri grabbed five wickets for 52 runs to bowl SC to a convincing win. Muhammad Shoaib hit 71 with seven hits to the boundary when CS batted.
