ISLAMABAD, Sept 11: Akhtar Gul claimed five wickets for only 11 runs as Imran Memorial swept aside Shalimar by six wickets in the Islamabad Cricket Association President Cup.

Batting first, Shalimar collected 148 off 36 overs, a total in which Naveed Tufail was the top scorer with 32 runs.

Imran Memorial got to the victory target losing four wickets in 25 overs, Sajid Mehmood hitting a fine 67 and Ali Naz staying unbeaten on 34.

Imran Memorial bt Shalimar by six wkts at Lal Quarters Ground. Shalimar 148 in 36 overs (Naveed Tufail 32, Rashid Mehmood 25; Akhtar Gul 5-11, Khurrum Shahzad 2-7); Imran Memorial 150-4 in 25 overs (Sajid mehmood 67, Ali naz 34 not out; SK Sadiq 2-13).
